We have developed our Comprehensive Testosterone Replacement Programs out of a desire to provide the best medical care for our patients and community. We have been extremely successful in helping countless patients to restore their health, energy and vitality with expert hormonal balancing. Testosterone is a controlled substance that has strict guidelines for how it can be prescribed, including a maximum of 90 days at a time and a specific protocol that must be followed. There can be many risks and unsatisfactory results associated with TRT without consistent monitoring, adherence to the prescribed protocol and expert knowledge of medicine and physiology.
If our doctor decides that testosterone replacement therapy is right for you, you will be given a prescription for 3 months of medication. We offer several programs for you to choose from to suit your needs and budget. Each of our programs include everything required for a 3-month testosterone treatment program, including labwork, medication, related supplies (syringes, needles), and all the clinical and administrative support you need. You may also choose a program with priority access through unlimited email and telephone support with your doctor.
Testosterone replacement therapy is the restoration of testosterone to healthy physiological levels. While there are a wide variety of testosterone delivery systems from gels, creams, and patches to implantable pellets, intramuscular (IM) injections, and orals, all TRT patients must to be monitored regularly, and follow-up laboratory tests need to be conducted every three to six months, depending on how long you have been on TRT and other factors.
Initial Consultation and Evaluation
Before your initial consultation for Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), we will send you a link that will direct you to fill out our Health Questionnaire. This includes a highly detailed medical history, as well as an extensive overview of any symptoms or health related issues you may be experiencing. This is important to your treatment because it us to get a more complete picture of the state of your health, and sometimes other health issues can have symptoms similar to those associated with low testosterone levels. During your initial Consultation and Evaluation, which is approx. 50 min long, you and the doctor will discuss the information in your Health Questionnaire, any possible health issues that will be looked into further with lab testing, as well as possible treatment options. Afterwards, he will determine which tests need to be ordered to develop your treatment plan.
Lab testing must be done before starting any TRT program, and then every 90 days after starting. The results of these labs, combined with the information from your Initial Consultation and Health Questionnaire, will allow us to determine if you are a candidate for TRT, and if so, what the best treatment plan for you will be. We can order your tests at the laboratory of your choice. If you have Kaiser, you can ask us for a list of the labs required, and you can ask your PCP to order them for you.
After we have your initial lab results back, you will need to come in for a follow-up appointment to review the results with the doctor, as well as your treatment plan. Follow up appointments are required every 90 days after starting a TRT program, after your lab results are back.
